Project Overview

My research focus is on natural products, with a particular emphasis on substances found in Cyclocarya paliurus and Tartary buckwheat. These natural products share a dual function as both medicine and food, making them potential candidates for combating hypertension, hyperglycemia, and hyperlipidemia. My research aims to extract and isolate active compounds such as flavonoids, alkaloids, and saponins from these sources. Additionally, functional identification and analysis of the active ingredients will be performed.

My research team possesses independent capabilities in natural product screening and scientific research. They have undertaken projects such as “High-throughput screening of natural products affecting irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) application research,” where they successfully screened and extracted the active ingredient sitosterol monomer from buckling flower to address IBS.

I have expertise in natural product screening. I supervised the Chinese provincial scientific research project 15CZ0031 ‘High-throughput screening of natural products affecting irritable bowel syndrome IBS application research. This project screened buckling flower for NPs and extracted the active ingredient sitosterol monomer.

I participated in the National Natural Science Foundation of China 31270673/c160702 ‘Geographic Variation of Cyclocarya Triterpenoids and its Coupling Relationship with the Environment’, the provincial project CXLX12-0540 ‘Research on the interaction effect of environment and genes on the accumulation of triterpenoids in Cyclocarya paliurus’ and the National Natural Science Foundation of China Project 81170700 ‘Research on the Molecular Mechanism of Mast Cell-T Cell Interaction Affecting the Pathogenesis of Interstitial Cystitis’, and its scientific research achievement ‘Using Autoimmune Bladder Inflammation Screening and Identification of Traditional Chinese Medicine Monomers Using Animal Models’ which received the Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology, Municipal Scientific and Technological Achievement Certificate Number: 00000188 Registration Number: 51192013Y029.
