Project Overview

Prostate cancer (PC) poses a significant health challenge, and treatment options for advanced stages of the disease remain limited. Recent research has identified long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) as crucial players in tumorigenesis and cancer progression, particularly in relation to PC development. Vitamin D has shown anticancer properties in PC, although the underlying mechanisms are not fully understood. My project focuses on investigating the potential involvement of emerging oncogenes in PC, with a specific emphasis on how vitamin D regulates lncRNAs.
