Project Overview

My masters research focus is on the effect of pollutants associated with the physicochemical characteristics of water on the reproduction of aquatic organisms. The project will identify changes in seminal quality (oxidative stress, sperm concentration, sperm morphology and kinetics, seminal pH and osmolarity) of a Brazilian Neotropical fish species, Astyanax lacustris (Lambari do rabo Amarelo).
